Description:

Its properties are a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a strong irritating odor and toxicity. It is mainly used in polyurethane products, including foam plastics, polyurethane coatings, polyurethane rubber; also has some applications in polyimide fibers and adhesives.

1. Stable, but prone to decomposition in the presence of moisture. Also sensitive to heat and light. Easily polymerizes. Reacts easily with compounds containing active hydrogen. Does not possess strong oxidizing agent characteristics. Corrodes some copper and aluminum alloys.

2. Highly toxic. Has a strong irritating effect on the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
